Description of the Area Surrounding the Biotope: It is one of the most sought-after attractions by everyone who visits Bonito. The city stands out mainly for its springs and rivers of crystal clear water, with a huge amount of fish and underwater life. The feeling of entering this true “aquarium” is an indescribable thing.

Description of the Underwater Landscape of the Biotope: Diving into the blue waters of the Rio de la Plata is that you are flying over the bottom of the river along with the fish, feeling total freedom of movement. Beams of light, antlers and fallen trunks, stone walls and rock formations make up an incredible underwater landscape, which reveals a completely different world from the surface.

Threats to the Ecology of the Biotope: Cabeceira do Prata, which associates a great biodiversity with the presence of transparent waters, allowing an activity of contemplation and interaction with nature. Therefore, by providing contact of visitors from all over the world with this exuberant environment, the tour aims to promote their awareness and disseminate the importance of RPPNs for the conservation of natural areas, in addition to fostering the development of sustainable tourism in the region, an alternative to generating income without destroying natural resources.
