Description of Decorations and Substrate: The substrate is sand and gravel . alot of leaves , branches and tree roots thats creeps to the underwater . All the big stones are from the river , the material i choose to resemble the one in the habittat as much as possible .
Description of Equipment: Filteration : Sunsun hbl 801 hang on filter , Lighting : 2 Cob led Tracking Light 6500k .
Water Parameters: Temp 26 , PH is 6.5 , Tds is 25 .
Additional Info: 20 % weekly waterchange , dead leaves and tree roots refill are performs once the old one is decomposed .

Description of the Area Surrounding the Biotope: Lata Jeram Linang is a fast flowing river , ( Jeram ) translated into English, means part of a river,
where water flows rapidly over the rock , Jeram Linang is 12m height rocky waterfall. It is a natural multi-tiers waterfall located in Pasir Puteh District , south-east of Kelantan .
Geographically located at WGS 84 : N5.7431° , E102.3738° and 460m above sea level ,
it is 10km from Pasir Puteh Town .
Access to the foothills can be done by public vehicles and to walk through the river requires trekking into the dense forest.
Basically, this place is considered as a public recreational spot.
However, it is a part of permanent forest reserve area some activites deep in the forest need and should be with permit from authorities .
average temperature in this forest is 26 to 28 degree Celsius depends on the local climate.
Lata Jeram Linang has a soothing feels as it is a tropical rain forest with a canopy full of trees and a waterfall with fast flowing river .
Its well kept ecosystem makes it suitable as habitats to various species of aquatics fish , invertabrates , birds and mammals .
The equatorial climate of Malaysia influences the condition of water flow and volume in Lata Jeram Linang .
Description of the Underwater Landscape of the Biotope: The water flow and volume is vary depend on the season.
the underwater of the river banks has a tree root the creep from land to water ,
floor consists of fine and coarse sand and variably sized river rocks.
Leaves and dead branches that fall from forest fall and drift along the banks .
Description of the Habitat Parameters: The water is pristine .
The temperature was seasonally variable among 23 – 27⁰c. Water pH also varies from 6.5 to 7.5 depending on season. TDS is 06 ppm .
List of Fishes and Invertebrates Occurring in the Nature Biotope: Betta kuehnei , Nemachelius selangoricus , Brachydanio albolineata , Silurichthys schneideri , Channa limbata , Ompok siluroides .
List of Plants Found in the Nature Biotope: Microsorum pteropus , Taxiphyllum barbieri .
Threats to the Ecology of the Biotope: Jeram linang is one of the few habitat for betta kuehnei that endemic to kelantan malaysia , it can’t be found in any state on the semenanjung except for kelantan … it is a beautiful fish that has been endangered by park development , concrete pools are made to made the water deeper for the visitor that visit this eco park … with the visitor numbers rising and concrete pools making the water deeper .. it is hard for this beautiful betta to hide and stay under the leaf and roots on the banks and got washed away by current …. this betta species life might be in danger if visitor and creator of the park not well inform of the status of this endemic betta .
