INFORMATION ABOUT BIOTOPE

Description of the area surrounding the biotope: The Veche creek flows through dark spruce forest areas from the peat bogs of the Tver region and enters the Rivitsa river. The ground is black, the stones have a dark patina.

Description of the underwater landscape of the biotope: At the bottom there is dark ground. There is a lot of driftwood in this stream, but the water in it is clean and running, like a tear. The stones on the bottom near the driftwood are simply overwhelming. In this work, I recreated the coastline with drops. I can watch this stream for hours. It’s just beautiful. The water is very clear. The average temperature is 10°C. In summer it is 24°C. pH is 6-8.2 depending on the season.
