Additional info: the branches , roots and soil all are from the habitat
10% weekly water changes. Adding dried macaranga leaves once the old one started to decomposing
shiruba xb303 im using with a control valve so the flowrate is decreasing
and the use of chiller is to maintain the water temperature of the biotope
INFORMATION ABOUT BIOTOPE:
Description of the area surrounding the biotope: North Selangor Peat Swamp Forest (NSPSF) is
a forest reserve that covers from Raja Musa Forest Reserve
until Sg Karang Forest reserve , Geographically located at 0″N 101°26’31., 3°27’58, 5 it is one of the largest remaining
contiguos area of of peat swamp forest in Peninsular Malaysia , it holds alot of small creek and shallow river
that are home to alot of fauna that are endemic to the area , therefore (NSPSF) has been identified
as a key site for conservation and education of peatland resources , as its a part of forest reserve area
so any particular activities such as sampling , see the habitat
should only be held after getting a permit from the authorities , average temperature of this area
around to 25-28 degree Celsius depends on the local climate , however being the nature as its a dense forest the temperature
usually stay at 25-27 , theres no vegetation in the water due to its acidicity only creeping gras from land are found in the water
Description of the underwater landscape of the biotope: The water itself is typically stained brown with humic acids
and other chemicals released by decaying organic material such as the peat soil ,
leaves , branches and tree roots that are some in the water ..
Description of the parameters of the habitat: average temperature is 25-28c but during raining season

Threats to the ecology: The aquarium was setup to raise awareness to peat swamp forest particularly (NSPSF) importance in ecological enviroment and also
this aquarium is setup to raise awareness about the rapid lost of the inhabitants due to deforestation , forest fire and ecological problem
also North Selangor Peat Swamp Forest (NSPSF) is home to some of the fish that are endemic to the area such as parosphromenus harveyi that are currently in IUCN red list as an endangered species
and why we must protect this inhabitants from total exticntion
