List of fishes: Pygocentrus nattereri, Ancistrus dolichopterus, Ancistrus In the Amazon River and its tributaries there are over two thousand species of fishes, which diversity is staggering. The aquarium is set up for one of the most dangerous species of piranhas, which lives in large flocks in the river basin in South America.
Biotope description: In this setup I tried to copy the Togo river in the zones full of anubias, lotus, stones and roots.

Simplicity rules the day with this piranha biotope and combines both the less-is-more ethos with a very genuine looking underwater scene.
