Description of Decorations and Substrate: palm tree dried fibrous root system base ( driftwood ) Floating plants , dried palm leaves water is cloudy cause of composition of red soil , mud , soil and silt submersed root fiber of palm and almond leaves in the biotope has given the water body deep red tan the aquarium is direct representation of same natural ecosystem .

Additional Info: 1 :water change 30 % every week cleaning of filter media sponge

4: live feed for fish blood worms 2 times a day
5: added activated carbon and ceramic rings for development of beneficial bacteria in biotope
6: removal of dead leaves if any plants are damaged
7: add liquid fertilizers for floating plants

this location is a natural swamp area created near bhuigaon beach , this swamp area is close to some very diverse eco system
the swamp is located near the fisherman village of bhuigaon this swamp is home to variety of ornamental value fish
people near this are more over dependent on fisheries and agriculture large are near the eco system is surrounded with coconut tree plantation farm and banana culture , the swamp area is beautiful location for insects ,crabs and fish. swamp area is having submersed palm trees coz of that water has a red tap to it that helps to develop some extraordinary ecosystem foe fish

Description of the Underwater Landscape of the Biotope: Swamp forested wetland near Bhuigaon Beach Vasai – virar this swamp is home to variety of ornamental value fish
this wetland is naturally formed is very diverse eco system that is home to variety of fish
as the water mass is surrounded by palm trees and almond trees the trees have helped in developing a red water or blackwater eco
system the under water landscape consist of red soil , sand and silt composition which makes this water tan read and water available is slight cloudy in nature because of constant dropping of dried almond leaves and palm leaves in the water mass but this also helps in creating a balance ecosystem my developing beneficial bacteria in water.

Threats to the Ecology of the Biotope: This biotope is set to bring to your notice that this ecosystem is home to diverse variety of some really beautiful indigenous ornamental fish . our organization is working on culture and awareness of this indigenous species found in this area so people could know the value of such beautiful fish life in this area but from last few years area is been invaded by commercial purpose which is harming and reducing the swamp area because of which the breeding ground of the fish is being affected that has reduced the fish population in the swamp area as the area is close to the beach because of tourist there is lots of waste dumping near the swamp area plastic waste is dumped in the swamp that is affecting fish life proper waste management needs to be carried out in the area and awareness about the swamp eco system needs to be brought to the notice of local and authority.
