Description of Decorations and Substrate: The water column is dominated by Hydrilla sp plants and there are several Nelumbo nucifera stems that grow between Hydrilla plants. Substrate is a soft mud that is where plants develop their roots with some twigs and leaves that fall and rot from trees around the habitat.

Description of Equipment: – Resun Powerhead Pump 6.5W 500L/H,
– 8 Watt Phillips lamp 20 cm White 800 lumens.

Water Parameters: – pH 7
– Temp 20-26°C
– Dissolve Oxygen 5 mg/L

Additional Info: Water changes are carried out every 10 days by replacing 30% of the water volume, the lights are turned on only during the day and turned off at night according to day and night conditions. Feeding is carried out every 2 days by providing food in the form of Tubifex sp worms. Daphnia and Moina which are natural foods available in their habitat

Description of the Area Surrounding the Biotope: Surrounded by trees and plantations of local residents.

Description of the Underwater Landscape of the Biotope: The aquatic habitat shown is part of a lake called Situ Burung which has several types of water including swamps, open water and some with moderate currents.

Description of the Habitat Parameters: Situ Burung is located in a tropical climate which has 2 seasons, namely the rainy season and the dry season. Has fairly stable water parameters including pH 6,5-7, Temp 20-26°C, dan Dissolve Oxygen 5 mg/L

Threats to the Ecology of the Biotope: The most obvious threat from the stability of conditions in Situ Burung is community activities such as plantations, tourism and residential sewers that flow directly into the waters, as well as several invasive fish species such as Mydas Cichlid, Oreochromis Niloticus and Pleco.
