Description of decorations: Collection of my bogwood, plants roots and branches are very similar to the river woods, And golden sand of my collection is maintain the natural color of the water.
Description of equipment: Venus Aqua internal filter 600 1F, Led light Clair 9Watt.
Water parameters: Temperature is 23° C, pH is 5.4

INFORMATION ABOUT BIOTOPE:

Description of the area surrounding the biotope: Maskeliya River from Sinhala is a major upstream tributary of the Kelani River. The tributary measures approximately 40 km (25 mi) in length, originating from the hills of the Peak Wilderness Sanctuary, before passing through the Maskeliya Reservoir. Maskeliya Oya converges with the Kehelgamu Oya at Kalugala, forming the 100 km (62 mi) long Kelani River. The river situated in dense forest with the brown tanned leaves in the ground.
Description of the underwater landscape of the biotope: It is mixed up of golden sand and brown leaves. There have rusting black color big rocks in under water and small stones. Bogwood have rich redish brown color and root and branches are yellowish white. As the river there have many fishes are passing through the small space.
Description of the parameters of the habitat: Water is transparent. The average temperature is 6.2° C. But in summer temperature is slightly 13° C. pH is 4.8
List of fishes and invertebrates occurring in the nature biotope: Barbus tetrazona, Hyphessobrycon eques, Corydoras, Hypostomus plecostomus.
List of plants found in the nature biotope: Bolbitis heudelotii, Microsorum pteropus, Amauriella Rendle, Arales, Aponogeton.
Threats to the ecology: The aquarium was set up to public attention to the problem of endangered species and the ecology of water bodies. Human pollute the habitat of the water because that is tourist place there have a bridge many peoples throw food and plastic carry bag and other waste that is very harmful for nature, leading them to extinction. No people who settled nearby water of the river.
