Biotope description: The venue for inspiration and reproduction was the Igarapé Daracuá. Located in the town of Barcelos, a Brazilian municipality in the state of Amazonas, belonging to micro-region of Rio Negro. In this genuine habitat Paracheirodon axelrodi, water is tea-colored, composite substrate basically leaves and trunks and the following water parameters: PH – 4.5, GH – 1, Temperature – 28 ° C, Transparency – 3 meters (Sechi disc), Nitrite, nitrate and ammonia – 0 (zero), Electrical conductivity – 10 microsiemens / cm.
